82.7 acres. This joint venture with the Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources offers 1.5 miles of trails through woods, fields and along Chamberlain Lake. Several rare and endangered plants can be found in the nature preserve. Recreational opportunities include bird watching, a bird observation platform located on the west side of Chamberlain Lake and hiking. This is a carry in-carry out site. There are no trash receptacles or picnic tables at the preserve. Open sunrise to sunset.
