The new Studebaker National Museum opened on November 1, 2005. Its exhibits include topics relating to the Studebaker Family, great local industrial giants, Studebaker's critical role in the country's war effort, and others. The largest collection in the world of Presidential Carriages is located in Hail to the Chiefs: The Presidential Collection. Visitors will follow the area's industrial past from the early 1800s to the present. Length of visit: 180 minutes (approximate time)

Shiojiri Niwa Japanese Gardens
This beautiful, authentically landscaped Japanese strolling garden is a reflection of our Mishawaka's adopted sister city, Shiojiri, Japan.  The cherry trees here, which blossom so profusely every spring, are a gift from Shiojiri's citizens.  The same architect responsible for the Japanese Exhibit at Disney World's Epcot Center, Shoji Kanaoka, designed the landscaping.  Length of visit: 30 -60 minutes
