Shiojiri Niwa Japanese Gardens
This beautiful, authentically landscaped Japanese strolling garden is a reflection of our Mishawaka's adopted sister city, Shiojiri, Japan. The cherry trees here, which blossom so profusely every spring, are a gift from Shiojiri's citizens. The same architect responsible for the Japanese Exhibit at Disney World's Epcot Center, Shoji Kanaoka, designed the landscaping. Length of visit: 30 -60 minutes
